The Independent Trade Union of Journalists and Media Workers (SSNM), the Macedonian Institute for Media (MIM) and the Institute of Communication Studies (ICS) publicly and unambiguously support the Association of Journalists of Macedonia in their efforts to ensure fair trial for Zoran Bozhinovski.

The Macedonian legal system must not be used for political retribution and punishment to those who don`t think alike. The right to a fair trial is a fundamental human right which the state must ensure for all its citizens.

Therefore, tomorrow at 10 am we are joining the protest before the Basic Court in Skopje where the first hearing of Bozhinovski is scheduled.
